Getting Started
1. Create your account
Sign up at zimmer.ai (opens in a new tab) with Google or email. New users are taken through a short onboarding conversation that helps set up their first agent automatically. You can skip this and create an agent manually if you prefer.
2. Create an agent
From the dashboard, click New Agent. Choose how you want to start:
- Guided Setup — chat with the AI builder, it asks questions and creates your agent's full configuration
- Prompt to Build — describe what you want in one message, AI generates the full setup instantly
- Starter Kits — pick a pre-built template for your industry
- Blank Canvas — start from scratch
3. Add knowledge
Go to the Knowledge tab inside your agent and link a knowledge base. This is what the AI uses to answer questions accurately. You can skip this for now, but agents with no knowledge base give generic answers.
See Knowledge Bases for setup.
4. Test in Playground
Click Playground to test your agent as a real user. Try asking questions, going through the journey, and checking responses.
5. Publish
Go to Settings → Deploy and click Publish. Your agent gets a shareable link and an embed code for your website.
